ohkiii....i wished long to write about Indian beggars...yeess,,,,now i can...!!!I always have the habit of making people around me to smile..or have fun...I want that no one in this world should have worries or sorrows..but this wish is far away from the actual realities...
In our small little world we only focus on our families and friends...we hardly have time to even think about other people..If you see in India we have millions of people below poverty line, who dont even know what they are doing or what kind of life they are living..I have been living in Mumbai for many years..the most frustrating part of this city is "Beggars"... it is not even frustrating rather it is sad...it is truly a sad story....
Sometime I often feel ,how lucky we are to get a beautiful life, our parents just give us things that we would never expect...there are many who love us and take care of us but what about these people??? They live in such an extreme condition. New born babies who are known to be free from tensions are being used as a resource for begging in India,what will these innocent kids know.Its even worse when I see a 16 year old kid carrying a 5 day old baby that too at traffic signals, trains and stations...i wonder if these kids know what they are doing... if they would knew i am sure they would be disappointed....!!!
It looks even sad when people around them stare these kids or pass comments on them....
but let me tell you these kids can sometimes be your timepass when your alone at station waiting for 2 hours for your friends..hehehe..;) again being back to my topic..i myself give these kids a rupee or two....not to support them for what they are doing but just to see that pretty smile on their faces... it seems as if the have conqured a war....At least that smile is worth giving to such kids then passing comments at them....What exactly are we Indians doing??
Beggars in Uk (they have beggars..;)..) and other countries are not called beggars because they don't beg and they impress people by playing some nice musics or may be dance and get some money from them.. But on contrary here in India when did beggars do such things??
Half of them are just fake beggars...they are just too lazzy to earn money th hard-way....its even true that these beggars make this job a profession..itss even heard that this profession has so come up that some of the beggars even own a house and use ATMs in everyday life just like working people...but again the saddest part of the storyy...they still BEG...!!!!
They are just lazy sitting at railway stations, traffic signals and markets and just chanting "allah ke naam pe do rupaiyya de do sir" or "ayeee ammaaa dennaa dennnaa.." Even the great allah will not suggest such a thing...as in cmmmon beggars try to be innovative...all of them should come up with some new ideas...only then they would be atleast happy with what they are doing... i am not sure about our Indian govt...but at least we people can make efforts...If we cannot help then we don't even have the right to laugh at them or pass weird comments about them...
This ain't a funny post...it is actually something to think upon...something to think about...!!!!!!
